One small job every week, for the doors you have now.
A house doesn’t get safer in one weekend. It gets there one small job at a time: a strike plate, a hinge screw, a sliding-door dowel. The Club sends you one of them every week, small enough to do in an afternoon, written in large print.

Small enough to do in one afternoon.
- 1One fix or one drill: the strike plate, the hinge screws, the sliding-door track, the spare key.
- 2Why it works, in plain words, with the published source when there is one, so you're not taking anyone's word for it.
- 3One large-print page with the steps, to keep on your phone and read before you pick up the screwdriver.
- 4Reply with any question. Write back to any letter and the channel team will answer.
- 5Leave whenever you like. Cancel in one click from the link in every email.

Before you join
Is this the same as the books?
No. The books (The $8 Door, Locks I'd Never Buy, The 10-Second Window, The Renter's Door) are the whole method, in order. The Club is a weekly companion: one thing at a time. You don't need the books to join, and you don't need the Club to use the books.
Who is it for?
Homeowners and renters over fifty who want to look after their own doors, calmly and cheaply. Every job comes with its safety notes. If one doesn’t suit your door, skip it and write to us.
Is it safe for me?
Never block a fire exit. Use the right drill bit, wear eye protection, and don’t climb ladders alone. Renters: check your lease before changing a lock.
How do I cancel?
Every email has a link to manage your subscription. Cancel there in one click, any time, and you won't be charged again. We also email you before each renewal, so a charge never arrives without warning.
